Im representing WeWantLive campaign that gathers Xbox 360 users from countries where Xbox Live service is not provided. With a couple of friends we are trying to make a difference. We are focused on Poland right now, but we are aware that there are still other countries also stripped of Xbox Live service.
For the past 6 years we were promised the launch of Xbox Live service in Poland. We want to be treated equally with other gamers not only because we pay the full price for games and hardware but also because Poland is a full member of European Union. That by law means that any service provided within EU has to be available in all of its members.
We are seeking support within gamers (not only from Poland) who support equal treatment of all gamers all over the world.
How can I help?
It's very simple. All you have to do is print out one of our posters (color: [link] or b&w: [link] ) and take a photo with it. The white space is for you. Write your nickname, draw something, show your national flag, anything! Every photo will count!
We are planning to make a big poster using gathered photos at the end of our campaign!
I don't have a printer!
No problem. You can take a photo with your display/TV/mobile phone or anything that can display our WWL poster!
Remember to let us know! Submit art to our group or send us a link to your photo!
Personally I believe in unity of gamers community. I believe that every gamer should be allowed to use services like XBL or PSN. He is a paying customer. I know that there is a huge potential in polish gaming market. I also know that many of you think that XBL should not be provided in countries with high piracy rate. I think that providing XBL is the best solution to fight piracy. Thanks to XBL customers have additional value added to their hardware and software AND cannot use illegal copies.
I hope that I will find people here who will find some time to help us out. If you want to contact us or follow us we are registered in almost every place available: twitter, facebook etc.
If you have any questions feel free to ask!
Of course our campaign is absolutely non-commercial. Information about our campaign was published in most of polish media.
